No. The entire editing process runs locally inside your web browser. Your PDF file is read by the browser using MuPDF compiled to WebAssembly. Pages are rendered as images on a local HTML5 canvas. Annotations are drawn on a transparent overlay canvas. When you export, the overlay merges onto the original pages using pdf-lib, which also runs client-side. No file data, no page images, and no annotation content leaves your device at any point. The image tool lets you insert a PNG, JPG, or SVG image such as a company logo or stamp. Every annotation supports undo. You can clear all annotations on a page at once. Zoom controls let you work at up to three-hundred percent magnification for precision.

Annotations are stored per page so edits on page three do not affect page one. You can zoom in on any page independently. When you click Export PDF the tool processes all pages. Pages without annotations pass through unchanged. Pages with annotations get the overlay merged on top. The resulting file keeps the original page dimensions and content intact. This approach handles documents of any reasonable length. Reports, manuals, contracts with dozens of pages all work. Each page renders at high resolution for crisp editing.
