About WikiPlus
What is WikiPlus?
WikiPlus is a free collection of online tools for PDFs, images, code, SEO, text, and conversions. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device, no upload is required, and there is no account to create.
What we build
We maintain 51 tools across 12 categories: PDF editing, image compression and resizing, developer utilities, SEO helpers, text manipulation, unit converters, and social-media assets. The catalogue grows as we identify gaps where existing tools require an account, charge a fee, or upload your file to an unknown server.
How we decide what to add
Every tool on WikiPlus starts with a simple question: can someone finish this task in their browser without uploading a file, creating an account, or paying a subscription? If the answer is yes, we build it. We prioritize utilities that show up in our own weekly workflow — compressing a receipt, splitting a scanned contract, grabbing the thumbnail of a YouTube video for a blog post — because the honest signal that a tool belongs on WikiPlus is that we reach for it ourselves. Each new tool goes through the same checklist before it ships: it must run on a mid-range phone browser, handle files of at least 100 MB without freezing the tab, produce output that matches a trusted reference implementation, and document the exact steps and limitations on its own page. Tools that fail any of those checks get rewritten or cut. We do not ship stub pages, affiliate wrappers, or redirect traps.
How it works
Every tool runs entirely inside your browser tab. The code needed to process your file is downloaded once when you open the tool and cached on your device — from that point on, everything happens locally.
- Your files are read, processed, and saved on your device — nothing is ever uploaded to our servers.
- Works on any modern browser, on desktop or mobile, with no installation and no account required.
- Even large files — PDFs, images, audio, video — stay entirely on your device during processing.
- No file, image, or text you process is ever logged, mirrored, or shared with any third party.
Privacy first
Because tools run in your browser, we literally cannot read your files — we never receive them. The only data we process is basic usage analytics (consent-gated in regions that require it) and advertising served through Google AdSense. Read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
Why everything runs on your device
On-device processing is the single architectural choice that shapes the rest of the product. Three consequences follow. First, speed: there is no upload, so the only bottleneck is your own device, and even a five-year-old laptop finishes most tasks faster than the upload-process-download cycle of a server tool. Second, privacy: your PDF, image, or video never travels over the internet, never sits in a temporary server bucket, and never enters a backup we would have to manage or delete on request. We literally cannot read your files because we never receive them. Third, independence: because everything runs locally, the tools keep working even when our servers are down, when your network is flaky, or when the page is loaded from a cached offline copy. This is why WikiPlus does not require an account and does not throttle free users — there is no server cost to meter.
How we stay free
WikiPlus is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense) and a small set of affiliate deals we curate ourselves. We do not sell your data, show pop-ups, or gate features behind a paywall. Tools remain free for every user, always.
Who builds WikiPlus
WikiPlus is built and maintained by Sergio Robles (Founder), an advertising and marketing professional with over 8 years of experience shipping digital products. Years of watching clients jump through signup walls, paywalls, and sketchy PDF uploaders to do simple tasks turned into a product thesis: the utilities people use on a Tuesday afternoon should be one click away, in their language, and should never ask for a file. Every tool on this site is planned, written, documented, and supported by the same person who launched it — so when something breaks, there is one accountable maintainer who replies to email.
Editorial standards: each tool ships with a how-to guide, an FAQ, and a privacy note. Tool descriptions are written from hands-on usage rather than scraped from competitors, and every update is dated and versioned in public on the WikiPlus GitHub repository.
